Sanctuary Tambarare, nestled among fever trees at the foot of Mount Kenya, offers a luxurious and eco-friendly safari experience for nature enthusiasts. Opened in June 2022, this exclusive lodge is located in the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the Big Five and the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. With just ten tents and a private villa spread across 90,000 acres of pristine plains, Sanctuary Tambarare provides an intimate and unforgettable experience. The lodge also holds the unique distinction of being home to the last two northern white rhinos on Earth.
Design & Ambiance
The camp’s design reflects a deep respect for nature, with minimal environmental impact while delivering an impressive experience. The lounge features soaring ceilings adorned with Afro-centric chandeliers and portraits of Samburu women, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere.
